WWe hope you’re all keeping well and safe and sane in these strange and troubled times…
Just a quick one to fire the starter’s pistol on our latest call for submissions. The portal-thingy (technical term) where we accept all submissions from authors is now live – you can find it by heading to our Submissions page here.
A few pieces of housekeeping:
- We only accept submissions through the portal at the above page. Please DO NOT post or email your submissions to us – we will not read anything sent to us via those routes. This isn’t us being unreasonable; it’s for our own sanity – we need one place to collate everything we receive. If we start accepting via multiple inboxes, we will lose track of stuff, and that’s not good for anybody.
- Please do bear with us and be patient. We try to get back to authors as quickly as we can; however, we do review and discuss every submission (as you’d hope we would!) – the process can take time, and we’re not going to shortcut it because we value the time and effort you’ve put into your writing.
- This is even more relevant in the current situation. Like pretty much everyone everywhere, we’re adjusting to a world which is a bit scary, confusing and just, well, different to how we’re used to things being. So that’s likely to have an impact on the length of time it takes us to do stuff – please, please be patient.
In the immortal words of the great Ron Swanson: that is all – please and thank you.
We look forward to reading your manuscript!
Stay lucky
